As a native New Yorker and Mom, I can’t believe we haven’t had the opportunity to visit the New York Hall of Science.  Well when I told my eight year old sonny boy Sean Eddie about the blogger opportunity, he asked if I could grant him a governor’s day (a day when I make the executive decision to keep him home from school to do something fun).  I said no not today, but we will plan a trip in short order.

And after just checking out their website, I almost wish I could call in sick too and go today! They are open this weekend too, including Memorial Day!  So make sure you make some plans to get to the New York Hall of Science soon!

New York Hall of Science offers a hands-on approach that explains science, technology, engineering and math programming to children of all ages.
Their permanent exhibit, Connected Worlds, is a fully immersive, digitally rendered, interactive display. Visitors explore the interdependence of six environments and interact with creatures, trees and plants within each atmosphere. Through gestures and movements, visitors learn the core principles of sustainability and see the impact of human decisions on the environment. Visit today for an immersive experience!
