If you live anywhere on the East Coast you know it’s been a long and dreary winter. The sky has been gray. The ground is covered with dirty snow. And it seems that there are patches of ice every three feet or so. And while red hearts decorate windows, I long for spring time to be here. I’m done and over winter for sure!

I keep telling people at work I’m counting down for baseball’s spring training, green grass and flowers. Spring can’t come soon enough we will all been in a blah blah mood lately due to the weather.

What a difference a little sunshine and a great music makes to lift your mood. Nothing brings you out of the doldrums like a great song. Hearing the guitar strumming and the drums drumming made me feel really great and happy.

Now That’s What I Call Music 53

This has the biggest hits on one album and Sony isn’t kidding.  My son was rocking out to his new favorite song Uptown Funk by Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars.  I really enjoy seeing his dance moves to this one!

I am a big Maroon 5 Fan -so I was happy that Animals was on this CD.  And another new fav of mine is Jason Derulo’s Trumpets.  Another really upbeat song that just sticks in your head and gets you moving to the music.

Now That’s What I Call Movies not only gives you the classic hits, it also has movie themes your kids will flip out for, like Pharrell Willams Happy from Despicable Me 2. And one my of daughter’s favorites, Anna Kendrick’s Cups from Pitch Perfect.  Even the hubs was a happy guy getting to rock out and doing some head banging to Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody from the movie Wayne’s World.
