We got to attend the opening night show of Monster Jam at Nassau Coliseum.  We attended the Pit Party and got to see all the drivers, their Monster Trucks and take lots of pictures too.

MONSTER JAM 004

Make sure that your phone is fully charged to capture lots of great moments and high flying action!  And don’t forget to pack your ear plugs or be prepared to shell out $20 for a pair that look like Monster Truck Wheels.

The kids really loved getting up close to the Big Monster Trucks–they couldn’t get over just how big each of the wheels were.

And looking underneath the truck to discover that the driver actually sits in the middle not on the left side.  The perks of the Pit Party -getting up close and personal!

MONSTER JAM 001

Not everything at Monster Jam has four wheels!! Kristen and I are big fans of the BMX’ers and Motorcross guys!! I got to take my picture with Kenny Haskel -the lead for the Motor Cross team-he flies high on his Yamaha YZ 250 in the show!!!

The Monster Trucks put on a great show!

MONSTER JAM 012One of my favorites is the El Loco Toro Truck!! He was really high flying!!!!

So  much high flying and action -that the Bounty Hunter Truck flipped over–thank goodness the driver was fine!!
