Since my family was on vacation last week and got to experience two amazing parks Sahara Sam’s and DiggerLand USA both in West Berlin, New Jersey we thought it best to stay over rather than make the long trip back to Long Island.  Having been a fan of The Hampton Inn chain, I was pleased to see that The Hampton Inn Voorhees was an affiliated hotel partner. You can check out the reviews of the parks to see what a great time we had Make a Splash at Sahara Sams and DiggerLand USA Buckets of Fun!

The Hampton Inn Voorhees was a welcoming and CLEAN place for my family to call home base in between amusement parks.  The front desk reception team member Alicia was so friendly and welcoming.  After she greeted us, she got us checked right in, offered everyone a snack and provided directions to a nearby restaurant.

When I said The Hampton Inn Voorhees was CLEAN, I meant it.  We don’t move a stitch of our bags into a room BEFORE we thoroughly check the beds and I’m happy to report that this room was one of the cleanest I’ve seen in a long time.

We thought their handwritten post-it notes were adorable as we’d never seen this done before.

The suite was spacious as was the bathroom.  Lots of room to spread out. Another feature of The Hampton Inn that I really appreciate is if we forgot to pack something.  You know this has happened on numerous occasions, but no worries, The Hampton Inn has got you covered and wants you to relax.

We all got a great night’s sleep and our wake- up call the next morning was right on time. Even with the wake up call-it was tough to get my sleepy heads to rise and shine.

Eventually, we all got dressed and headed down to breakfast.

One of the perks that I really enjoy about The Hampton Inn Voorhees is that a great breakfast is included in your stay for FREE!

I’m talking about a full hot and cold breakfast, scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon, hard boiled eggs, batter to make your own waffles, hot oatmeal with lots of toppings, bagels, muffins, bread, fruit, yogurt and cold cereals.  Juices, milks, coffees, tea everything you’d want for breakfast.

After our filling breakfast, we went to the pool for awhile and the kids enjoyed splashing around and swimming.

Adjacent to the pool was a state of the art exercise room to help work off that yummy breakfast!

Returning to our room, we got on the elevator only to observe Fernando from maintenance cleaning the tracks on the floor of the elevator with a rag and q-tips to get the dirt out of the grooves.  I complimented him on his diligence and he said he likes the place to shine. And indeed it did.

Once we packed up our things, we left to check out where again service was quick and courteous.  I would highly recommend The Hampton Inn Voorhees to anyone that is going to the theme parks or other attractions in the area.
