Disney Side at Home Celebration

February 26, 2014 in Best of Both, birthday, Disney, Family Fun

As a part of the Mom Select Network, I was provided with free products in order to host the Disney Side at Home Celebration.  No other compensation was received and all opinions expressed here are true and my own.

Showing our Disney Side was so much fun!  As you know my sonny boy Sean Eddie recently turned six.  And we celebrated his birthday in Walt Disney World.  It was such an awesome jammed packed fun day it took me two blogs to write about it.  You can check them out Making Birthday Memories and Making Magical Birthday Memories.

So you can imagine my excitement when I opened my email to find that I was selected to be Disney Side blogger and host an at home celebration.  The frenzy around being selected and joining a Facebook group to exchange ideas about what was to come really increased the anticipation of having a Disney Side at home celebration.  Our celebration theme was my son’s birthday.  Of course, since we were in Disney World for his actual birthday, I decided to invite some of our friends and his classmates over to celebrate all be it a bit belated.

We held the party last week, and I will certainly be posting all about that -but first I have to let you know what came in the twenty-eight pound box!!!

Talk about a BIG box!!

Talk about a BIG box!!

The package that Disney sent was in a word AMAZING.

So exciting!

So exciting!

It was a family gathering to open THE DISNEY SIDE box!  I had only posted a picture to my Facebook fan page of the unopened box as I didn’t want to spoil the surprise for those invited to the party.

There were so many great goodies to giveaway and share with party goers, plus ideas for recipes and our package included Hanes t-shirts and Crayola fabric markers –which was such a huge hit with the kids.

The kids love these

They got to make show their Disney Side and create their favorite characters on their own t-shirts.

Then all the party supplies themselves were amazing too!

Then as a hostess gift I got an American Tourister piece of Luggage the official luggage of Walt Disney World Resorts!

I’m telling you Disney does it right!  The package also included measuring cups and recipe cards for ABC’s The Chew, Disney Bingo Cards, trivia and two six packs of Craisins dried cranberries!  And just when I thought it couldn’t get any better HP photo card packs containing just what I needed to create some awesome Disney Side invitations!

Check out these awesome invites!

How cool!

It was so easy to go to www.disneysidecelebrations.com to download the free invitation maker!  And before I knew it I had made lots of great invites!

And it’s not just the kiddos that will get to take something home, each family that attends will get a very special print courtesy of Disney Parks.

Mickey & Minnie in Love :)

Each of these came in a special envelope to ensure that they wouldn’t get crinkled or wrinkled.  Disney is so thoughtful and knows we busy Moms and Dads already have enough to manage!

Can’t wait to share all the fun we had at our Disney Side at Home Celebration with you soon!!
