National Women’s Friendship Day

September 16, 2012 in Best of Both, Work-Life Balance

So today is National Women’s Friendship Day.  Personally I think every day is a friendship day.  To me BFFs are the family you choose!

I have some of THE MOST wonderful girlfriends in the world.  In my opinion, having friends is so important they help keep me grounded, get excited for me, share in my successes, dry my tears when I’m upset, listen to my venting, consult regarding handling difficult matters at work, laugh at my jokes, give advice (even when I don’t ask), tease me, break my chops, but most of all love me for who I am.  They are each special in their own ways.  I have known some for as long as I can remember I think I was 5 when I was introduced to my oldest friend, while others entered my life at later stages. My circle is a unique one and I blessed to have these wonderful women in my life.

With all the things that I juggle as a Mom, it’s nice to know I can count on them for their support.  They know they can count on these same things as loyalty is value that I hold near and dear to me.

So what about you-how do your BFF’s enrich your life?
